Gaelynn Lea
Gaelynn Lea Tressler, born on January 21, 1984 in Duluth, Minnesota, is an
American folk musician and disability advocate. Born with osteogenesis
imperfecta, a genetic condition affecting bone development, Lea developed a
unique technique for playing the violin. Her career began with collaborations
including the alternative folk duo The Murder of Crows. She gained significant
exposure after winning NPR's 2016 Tiny Desk Contest with "Someday We'll Linger
in the Sun". Her album, All the Roads That Lead Us Home, was released in 2015,
