Gale Garnett, born Gale Zoë Garnett on July 17, 1942, in Auckland, New Zealand,
was a singer who moved to Canada at age 11. She began her public singing career
in 1960 and made her New York nightclub debut in 1963 at The Blue Angel Supper
Club, leading to a signing with RCA Victor Records. Garnett's breakthrough came
with the release of "We'll Sing In The Sunshine" in 1964, which reached number 4
on the pop charts and topped Billboard's Adult Contemporary singles chart for
