Gareth Edmund Malone (born on November 9, 1975) is an English choirmaster and
Officer of the Order of the British Empire, mainly known for his extensive work
with the reality TV format. Malone developed a passion for music from a very
young age, singing at Bournemouth School’s Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra and
later joining the university choir at the University of East Anglia, where he
studied drama. After completing his postgraduate vocal studies at The Royal
