Gary Gamutan Granada (born 1960) is a Filipino rock and folk rock
singer-songwriter, composer, poet, and anarchist activist from Maco, Davao de
Oro. Granada learned the ukulele at his father's insistence and proficiently
played the guitar. He worked as a tutor at the University of the Philippines, a
broadcaster, and a voice talent. Granada wrote topical compositions and
advertising jingles. In 1998, the song “Mabuti Pa Sila” won the Grand Prize at
