Gary Lawyer
Gary Lawyer, born 1959 in Mumbai, India, is a singer-songwriter known for his
work in blues and jazz blues genres. He began his career as a nightclub singer
in New York City before returning to Bombay. His breakthrough came with "Nights
on Fire", the first English music video played on MTV in India. Lawyer's debut
album, This Cannot Wait, was released in 1987, followed by Arrow in the Dust
(1996). He also opened for international musicians such as Bon Jovi and Bryan
Adams, and contributed to Bollywood films, including "Your Face Is Face Of Love"
from Jahan Tum Le Chalo (1999) and...
