Gay Dad, an English rock band formed in London in 1994, consisted of Cliff Jones
(guitarist/vocalist), Nick "Baz" Crowe (drummer), James Riseboro (keyboardist),
Nigel Hoyle (bassist) and Charley Stone. The group's origins trace back to the
late 1980s when members played in various incarnations, including The Timothy
and the Astral Projection Society. Their first demo was produced by Jim Irvin
and funded by Andrew Loog Oldham and Tony Calder, leading to their live debut at
the Orange Club in West Kensington in 1995. Following a lineup change, Gay Dad
