GENA
GENA is a collaborative musical project between singer Liv.e and
drummer/producer Karriem Riggins, whose name stands for "God Energy, Naturally
Amazing". Formed in Los Angeles in 2025, GENA explores hybrid styles, fusing
futuristic soul, alternative R&B, nu jazz and experimental textures. Singles
"Circlesz", "Homeflow" and "Lead It Up" revealed their alchemy, and their debut
album, The Pleasure Is Yours (2026), showcased rich melodies, organic rhythms
and contributions from artists such as Isaiah Sharkey, James Francies and
Telemakus.
