Gentle Bones
Joel Tan (born 23 March 1994), otherwise known as Gentle Bones, is a Singaporean
singer-songwriter who first found fame sharing cover songs on YouTube in the
early 2010s. After building a loyal fanbase online over the ensuing years, the
release of his self-titled debut EP in 2014 put him firmly on the Southeast
Asian pop map. The following year, he became the first Singaporean artist to
sign with Universal Music Singapore and dropped a second EP, the future
bass-meets-R&B of Geniuses & Thieves, in 2016. A third EP, Michelle, arrived in
