Geoff Moore, born February 22, 1961, in Flint, Michigan, is an American contemporary Christian music singer. He began his musical journey at Taylor University and moved to Nashville after graduating in 1983, securing a publishing contract with Paragon Music through Michael W. Smith. In 1987, he formed Geoff Moore & The Distance, releasing their debut album A Place to Stand in 1988.
