George Colligan, born December 29, 1969, in New Jersey, is an American jazz
pianist, organist, drummer, trumpeter, composer, and bandleader. He grew up in
Columbia, Maryland, and studied classical trumpet at the Peabody Institute
before transitioning to piano. Colligan collaborated with various notable
musicians like Gary Bartz, Don Byron, and Benny Golson. His debut album Activism
