George Faith
Earl George Lawrence, known professionally as George Faith, Earl George, and
George Earl, was a Jamaican reggae singer born on July 6, 1946 in Rae Town. His
musical journey began with his school choir and made his recording debut in 1970
with "See Me", produced by Clancy Eccles. In the early 1970s, Lawrence
collaborated with Glen Lee on tracks like "Green Hills, I Won't Cry" and "Gonna
Give Her All The Love I've Got". A pivotal moment came when Lee "Scratch" Perry
