Gerhard Rochus Dudek was a German jazz musician born in 1938. Dudek studied
clarinet and joined a big band led by his brother until 1958. During the 1960s,
the artist played in the Berliner Jazz Quintet and Kurt Edelhagen’s orchestra.
Dudek performed with Manfred Schoof’s quintet and participated in the first
sessions of The Globe Unity Orchestra (1966). Solo recordings include the albums
'Smatter (2002) and Day and Night (2012). Their discography includes the co-led
