Germán Coppini
Germán Coppini, born Germán Coppini López-Tormos in Santander, Cantabria, on
November 19, 1961, was a Spanish singer-songwriter who was a leading figure of
the Movida Viguesa. Regarded as one of Spain's most influential
late-20th-century lyricists, he began his career in Vigo in 1980 as vocalist of
close harmony group Coco y los del 1.500. He reached professional recognition in
1981 after co-founding punk rock band Siniestro Total, releasing the extended
play Ayudando a los enfermos (1981) and debut studio recording ¿Cuándo se come
