Ghix
A native of Benin, Gislain Adjalla turned to music at the age of 15, first
joining a band, M16, but without releasing any official tracks. Gradually
familiarized with the demands of composition, he decided to go solo under the
pseudonym Ghix, with which he experimented with the possibilities of the hip-hop
aesthetic. After several confidential attempts, which nevertheless led to him
being spotted by the Cameroonian structure Hope Music Group, he officially
launched himself in the eyes of the general public with a first single in 2017:
