Gillespi
Marcelo Rodríguez, known as Gillespi, was born on August 16, 1965, in Monte
Grande, Buenos Aires, Argentina. He is a trumpeter who began his musical journey
during adolescence. His debut as a musician came in 1984 at the Festival Mar del
Jazz 84. Gillespi's career includes notable collaborations and solo projects. He
was part of La Sonora del Plata from 1986 to 1991, and contributed to albums by
Sumo and Divididos. His first solo album, Ultradeforme, was released in 1998.
