Mirna Ginette Acevedo Palma was born on 15 April 1942 in San Fernando, Chile,
and became a prominent Chilean singer. She released her first album, La voz de
la ternura, in 1962 and won the international Category at the Viña del Mar
International Song Festival in 1964 with "Está demás". Acevedo released albums
such as Trencito De Navidad (1963) and Ginette (1972), achieving popularity in
Argentina, Mexico, Peru, and Venezuela. She appeared in the films Tacuara y
