Gogi Grant, born Myrtle Audrey Arinsberg on September 20, 1924, in Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania, is an American pop music singer. She moved to Los Angeles at
twelve and began performing in local television talent shows. Before her singing
career took off, she worked as an autoverkäuferin. In 1952, after recording a
demo of "I'm Yours" at Gold Star Studio, she was signed by RCA Victor under the
stage name Gogi Grant. Grant's breakthrough came in 1956 with her hit single
