Formed in Japan in 2004, Golden Bomber is a visual kei band founded by vocalist
Shō Kiryūin and guitarist Yutaka Kyan. Known for their theatrical performances,
the group is referred to as an ‘air band’ since only the vocals are performed
live during their shows and the rest of the band members are performers and will
mime their instruments on stage. In keeping with the ‘air band’ concept, all of
the band’s recordings feature professional musicians working with vocalist Shō
