The Grand Blanc quartet, evolving in electro-pop with cold wave foundations, was
founded in Metz in 2013 by Benoit (guitar), Luc (keyboards), Camille (keyboards
and vocals) and Vincent (bass). After a few Bob Dylan-inspired folk stutters,
the band radically changes direction and opts for the cold, synthetic sound
they're known for, inherited from the new/cold wave of the 1980s. The band
quickly made a name for themselves at the Inouis du Printemps de Bourges, then
for their homonymous EP. The next step came in February 2016 with their debut
album, Mémoire Vive.
