Greg Wilson, born on February 22, 1960, is an English DJ and producer. He began
as a teenage DJ in 1975, spinning soul, funk and jazz‑funk in local clubs. He
gained national attention with a residency at Manchester’s Legend club in 1981,
where he introduced early electro records to a predominantly black audience and
became one of the United Kingdom’s pioneering DJs. In 1983, he was the first
