Grupo La Etiqueta emerged from Chihuahua in early 2023, when accordionist and
frontman Ricardo Ibarvo assembled Edgar Garfio (bajoquinto), Javier Elguea
(drums), and Hugo Núñez (electric bass) to revive classic regional Mexican
sounds with a fresh edge. They debuted with the single “Aquí Sigo Más Perrón” in
March 2023, gaining traction in Culiacán, Guadalajara, and their home region,
then followed up with engaging live EPs like Acceso Privado Vol. 2 (2023) and
Puras Rancheritas (En Vivo) (2025). The group steadily expanded their catalog
