(Guckkasten)
Guckkasten (Korean: 국카스텐), a South Korean indie rock band, was formed in 2003
under the name The C.O.M. (The Compass of Music). The original lineup included
vocalist Ha Hyun-woo, guitarist Jeon Kyu-ho, drummer Lee Jung-gil, and bassist
Kim Jin-eok. However, due to mandatory military service, the band disbanded
briefly. In 2007, the remaining members regrouped and renamed the band
Guckkasten, inspired by the German word for "Chinese-style kaleidoscope,"
symbolizing their desire to create psychedelic, ever-evolving music that mirrors
