Guido Manusardi, born on December 3, 1935, in Chiavenna, Italy, is an Italian
jazz pianist and composer. Encouraged by his musically inclined parents,
Manusardi began performing classical sonatas and jazz improvisations publicly at
fifteen. Between 1960 and 1967, he worked primarily in Sweden before moving to
Bucharest for seven years, where he recorded Blues For Vali, the first Romanian
free-jazz album with Dan Mândrilă and Johnny Răducanu. Manusardi's career
