Gunhild Carling

Gunhild Carling, born on May 7, 1975, in Gothenburg, Sweden, is a Swedish jazz musician and multi-instrumentalist, best known for her trumpet playing. She began performing at age seven with her family band, The Carling Family, which specialized in New Orleans–style jazz, and recorded her first album with them in 1984. In the early 2000s, she founded her own Gunhild Carling Swing Band, touring Europe and internationally and performing at numerous jazz festivals.
