Günther Klatt, born on May 2, 1957, in Munich, Germany, was a German jazz
saxophonist, painter, and sculptor. After studying graphic design following his
graduation from high school, he began learning the saxophone as an autodidact in
1976. His debut performance came in 1979 with Nico Bunink, marking the start of
his music career. In 1982, he released his first LP, The Horn is Back.
Throughout his career, he collaborated with various musicians, including Aki
Takase on Art of the Duo: Play Ballads of Duke Ellington (1990). He performed
