H & Claire is an English-Welsh pop duo consisting of Claire Richards and Ian "H"
Watkins, both former members of Steps. Formed in 2002 following the split of
Steps on December 26, 2001, H & Claire quickly gained traction with their debut
single "DJ", released on May 6, 2002, which peaked at number 3 on the UK Singles
Chart. Their second single "Half a Heart" reached number 8 in August 2002. The
duo's third and final single release was a double A-side featuring an original
song "All Out of Love" and a cover of Disney’s "Beauty and the Beast", which
