Born on 27 October 1991 in Edinburgh, Scottish indie singer-songwriter Hamish
Hawk is known for dousing his songwriting in buckets of acid-sharp wit. Armed
with a crooning baritone voice, he poured baroque pop, rock, and folk influences
into his debut EP Moon Out West, released under his full name Hamish James Hawk
via indie label Common Records. His solo full-length, Aznavour, arrived in 2014;
the same year he graduated from the University of St Andrews. A few years later,
he formed Hamish Hawk & the New Outfit with a backup band and released From Zero
