Haruka Ayase, born on March 24, 1985, is a Japanese actress and singer who rose
to fame after receiving the Special Jury Prize at the 25th Horipro Talent Scout
Caravan in 2000. She began her acting career in 2001 with the TV drama The Files
of Young Kindaichi and secured her first regular role in a drama series with
Boku no Ikiru Michi in 2003. Her breakthrough came in 2004 as the lead in Crying
