Heartsdales, a Japanese-American hip-hop duo consisting of sisters Yumi Sugiyama
and Emi Sugiyama, was formed in Tokyo in 2001. Born on December 17, 1981, and
December 4, 1976, respectively, the siblings moved to Yonkers, New York, shortly
after Yumi's birth before returning to Japan in 1995. Their musical journey
