Heinz Winckler
Heinz Carl Heinrich Winckler (born 22 March 1978 in Stellenbosch, South Africa)
is a South African singer who rose to prominence after winning the first season
of South African Idols in June 2002. Following his victory, he released the
double‑platinum single "Once in a Lifetime" and the debut album One Step Closer
(November 2002), which included the covers "Soledad" and the single "Next Stop
