1966, in Paris. Born into a family of artists, Breschand began her solo career
at age twenty and performs contemporary repertoire, musical theater, and
improvised music. Her solo discography includes Hélène Breschand joue (1998), Le
goût du sel (2006), and Les incarnés (2015). Breschand has collaborated with
composers and artists including Luciano Berio, Bernard Cavanna, Elliott Sharp,
