Herizen Fawn Guardiola is an American singer, songwriter, and actress born in
Miami, Florida, on July 24, 1996. Inspired by her reggae musician father, Johnny
Dread, Guardiola entered the public eye with her breakout role as Mylene Cruz on
the Netflix original series The Get Down. She was featured on several musical
projects, including Absofacto's EP ThousandPeaces, the soundtrack for The Get
Down, and the official soundtrack for the Major Lazer documentary Give Me
