Daniel Baskara Putra, known professionally as Hindia, was born on February 22, 1994, in Indonesia. He initially gained recognition as the vocalist of the rock band Feast. In 2018, Putra started his solo career under the moniker Hindia with the single "No One Will Find Me" from the compilation album Bertamu. His debut studio album Menari Dengan Bayangan was released in November 2019, earning him nominations for Best New Artist and Best Alternative Solo Artist at the 2019 Anugerah Musik Indonesia.
