Home Made Kazoku is a Japanese hip-hop group formed in 1996, consisting of two
MCs, MICRO and KURO, and a DJ. Initially, the duo met at Nanzan University, and
despite Japan's limited hip-hop scene at the time, they were influenced by
American hip-hop. In 1999, they won the USEN Fresh Musician Contest with the
track "Donpisya" and released their first album, HOME MADE KAZOKU. After a name
change due to broadcasting restrictions, they signed with Polydor and released
major hits, including "Thank you!!" in 2005, which was used as the ending theme
for the anime BLEACH and "FREEDOM"(...
