Horsegirl
Horsegirl is an American indie rock trio from Chicago, Illinois, composed of
Nora Cheng, Penelope Lowenstein, and Gigi Reece. Formed in 2019, the band
quickly gained attention with their debut single "Forecast" and their first EP,
Horsegirl: Ballroom Dance Scene et cetera (2020), which earned them a spot on
Paste’s list of the 25 best EPs of the year. Their lo-fi, shoegaze-inspired
sound caught the interest of Matador Records, leading to their signing in 2021
and the release of their first single on the label, "Billy," which Rolling Stone
named one of its Songs You Need to Know. ...
