Hubert Nuss
Hubert Nuss is a German jazz pianist and composer born on March 10, 1964, in
Neckarsulm. He began classical piano training at age eight and church organ at
age 16. Nuss performed with the Jugendjazzorchester Baden-Württemberg
(1982–1986) and the Bundesjazzorchester (1988–1989), appearing on the recording
BuJazzO Vol. 1. He graduated from the Hochschule für Musik Köln in 1992. Nuss
taught at music colleges in Weimar and Mannheim before lecturing in Berlin,
