Hugh Pool (contributor)
Hugh Pool is an American blues and roots rock musician, songwriter, and producer
who was born as Hugh Eustis Potts Pool in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in 1964. He
achieved professional recognition after forming the country blues trio The
Catfish in 1988 and is famous for a unique guitar style that utilizes a
resonator guitar played with a spark plug wrench. Pool began playing guitar at
age 15 and later performed in the New York City subway system. His discography
