Hurriganes
Hurriganes was a Finnish rock band from Helsinki. Formed in 1971 in
Pohjois-Haaga, the group was founded by drummer and singer Remu Aaltonen
alongside bassist Cisse Häkkinen and guitarist Ile Kallio. The ensemble released
its debut studio album, Rock and Roll All Night Long, in 1973. The band achieved
a commercial breakthrough in 1974 with the album Roadrunner, which featured the
song “Get On” and became the highest-selling Finnish recording of its era. In
1975, guitarist Albert Järvinen left the group and was replaced by the returning
Kallio for the release of the album Crazy Da...
