Israel & New Breed is a Christian music group formed in 1995 by Israel Houghton.
Born in Oceanside, California, on May 19, 1971, singer, guitarist and songwriter
Israel Houghton based his band in Houston, Texas. Following the release of the
group's first album, Whisper It Loud, for Warner Bros. in 1997, subsequent
albums were released by Integrity Music, a label specializing in contemporary
gospel music, with New Season (2001) and its Hispanic version Nueva Generación
