It's Immaterial
It's Immaterial, an English indie pop band from Liverpool, was formed in 1980 by
John Campbell (vocals), Martin Dempsey (guitar), and Henry Priestman
(keyboards), all former members of Yachts. Paul Barlow joined on drums, but by
1984 the lineup had reduced to a duo with Campbell and Jarvis Whitehead. The
band's first notable appearance was recording four sessions for John Peel at BBC
Radio 1 in November 1981. Their breakthrough came with the single "Driving Away
