singer-songwriter, and record producer known by the stage name J. He co-founded
the rock band Luna Sea in 1986, which achieved significant success with over 10
million records sold in Japan and influenced the visual kei scene. In 2003, HMV
Japan ranked the band at number 90 on its list of the 100 most important
