J.J. Fad, an American female rap group from Rialto, California, was formed in
1985 by Juana Burns, Dania Birks, Anna Cash, Fatima Shaheed, and Juanita Lee.
The group's name initially stood for the members' given names but later became
"Just Jammin', Fresh and Def." J.J. Fad released their first single "Anotha Ho"
backed with "Supersonic" in 1987. Due to internal disagreements, Cash, Shaheed,
and Lee left, and Burns and Birks were joined by Michelle Franklin and DJ Train.
