Lars Jacob Jack Vreeswijk, born on January 25, 1964, in Stockholm, was a Swedish
ballad singer, songwriter, and composer. Following in his father Cornelis
Vreeswijk's footsteps, he released four albums of his own, often performing his
father’s songs. In summer 2006, Jack Vreeswijk appeared in a biographical
musical show about his father titled Från James Dean till Nationalskald, which
he also wrote and starred in as the older Cornelis. He composed music for a film
about Cornelis Vreeswijk's life and produced nine tracks on Hans-Erik Dyvik
