Jacky Jasper, born Sean Merrick in Toronto, is a rapper known for his distinct
G-funk sound. In 1991, as Toronto rapper HDV, he contributed to the Can't
Repress the Cause Movement. In 1993, he released Higher Deeper Values through
ISBA Records/Sony Records. In 1996, after being recruited by Eric B., he moved
to the United States and reinvented himself as H-Bomb, releasing Narcissism in
1998 which featured "Playaz Need No Love" with Roger Troutman that charted on
Billboard's Hot Rap Tracks. In 2002, under the name Jacky Jasper, he released
Keep My Shit Clean, peaking at number 60 ...
