Jake Holmes
Jake Holmes is an American singer-songwriter and jingle writer from San
Francisco born in 1939. After military service, the artist debuted with the
album “The Above Ground Sound” of Jake Holmes (1967), which featured the song
“Dazed and Confused”. Their discography includes the albums A Letter to
Katherine December (1968) and Jake Holmes (1969). Recognition increased with the
album So Close, So Very Far to Go (1970), which reached number 135 on the
Billboard album chart and featured the single “So Close” (1970), which reached
