Jamrud
Jamrud is one of the best-selling rock bands in Indonesian history. Formed under
the original name of "Jamrock" in Cimahi, West Java, the group began working
together in 1984, with lead vocalist Yudi, lead guitarist Aziz Mangasi Siagian,
bassist Krisyanto, drummer Budhy Haryono, and keyboardist Ari forming the
original lineup. Jamrock had changed its name to Jamrock by the mid-1990s, and
the band's repertoire of cover songs gradually gave way to original material as
new members like guitarist Fitrah Alamsyah and drummer Sandy Handoko joined the
