Ján Lehotský is a Slovak singer, keyboard player, and composer who was born in
Bratislava, Czechoslovakia, in 1947. He achieved early professional recognition
in groups including Gentlemeni and is famous for his leadership of the band
Modus and for his significant contributions to Slovak popular music. Lehotský
began managing the ensemble Modus in 1974, which featured the musicians Marika
Gombitová and Miroslav Žbirka. During his career, he produced approximately 20
