Jean-Claude Borelly, born on July 2, 1953, in Paris, France, is a French
trumpeter. His musical journey began at age seven when he was inspired by Louis
Armstrong's television performance. He received early training from a
trompetista of L'Opera de París and studied at the Conservatoire and École
Normale de Musique de Paris. Borelly turned professional in 1972, performing in
various musical revues and cabarets in Paris. His breakthrough came in 1975 with
