Jean Paques
Jean Pâques, born Jean-Pierre Paque on September 16, 1901 in Liège, Belgium, was
a musician, composer, and pianist. After World War I, he became a ragtime
musician and moved to Paris in the 1920s where he began composing novelty piano
pieces. By the end of the decade, he relocated to London, joining a successful
orchestra. Throughout his career, Pâques recorded nearly forty albums. He passed
away on April 19, 1974.
