Jeff Johnson, born in 1956, is a Washington-based American recording artist,
composer, and producer known for music spanning progressive rock, jazz, new age,
instrumental, contemplative, Celtic, and world music. His early work was rooted
in vocal progressive rock, while his later recordings increasingly explored
Celtic, jazz, and contemplative styles. His discography includes numerous solo
and collaborative albums, including works inspired by fantasy author Stephen
